Each number shows how many mines are in the eight surrounding squares. Open every square without a mine to win. Your first square is always safe.
Start the game to expand it to fill the screen. Press Close or Esc to return to the page.
Right-click, or turn on Flag mode and tap, to place a flag. With a keyboard, move with the arrow keys, press Enter to open and F to flag.
